Our Mission

2nd Glance Ministries has been established to preach the good news of the gospel to the poor; to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind; to set free those who are oppressed; and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord. We will accomplish this by taking a second glance at some of the more difficult issues and subjects that face the Body of Christ today. We will begin our outreach by addressing the problems we face as Christians living in a sexually saturated society.

Clay Jones Biography

Clay Jones is the President of Second Glance Ministries. As the President, Jones oversees all operations of the ministry. Most recently, he created and developed a three part series entitled "Where Does the Second Glance Go?" The informational series addresses God's plan for sex.

Before creating Second Glance Ministries, Jones served as the Vice-President of strategic cities for the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families from 1997-2000. As Vice-President, he led the organization's model city project efforts as well as its ongoing work to mobilize and empower citizen coalitions throughout the country. Four major cities served as models for the rest of the nation. Jones became a nationally known expert and leader in the fight against pornography.

Jones experience in mass evangelism created his position as Executive Administrator for The Power Team in 1990. During his tenure with The Power Team, he helped facilitate the evangelism of hundreds of thousands of people nationwide. His travels with The Power Team took him to the Soviet Union where he worked with former underground church leaders to organize crusades in Moscow, Leningrad, and Kiev.

Jones began his work in ministry in 1981 while traveling in the Philippines. His teaching and preaching has taken him worldwide to such locations as Guatemala, Papua New Guinea, Soviet Union, Romania, During his travels, Jones has served both as an Assistant and Young Pastor.

Jones lives in Aurora, Colorado with his wife Kellie and their three children, Charles, Tiffany, and Jessica.

Our Plan

At this point it is clear that the devastating impact of sexual issues on God's people is growing greater in dimension every day. Left unchecked, society's sexual problems will have catastrophic consequences in the Body of Christ for generations to come. With these things in mind the mandate of and call of God are clear. Create a series that brings us understanding of the issues and solutions to the problems we face as Christians living in a sexually saturated society today. Then disseminate it to the broadest Christian audience possible in the most efficient and creative manner possible.
